GE Power theorys announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Enron Wind Corp.'s wind turbine manufacturing and marketing operations. a wholly avowed subsidiary of Enron Corp. and a global manufacturer of wind turbine generators. Bankrupt potency trading firm Enron Corp. (ENRNQPK) of Houston confirmed the intent to vend its wind turbines business to General Electric Co (GEN)

Financial confines were not disclosed, but a source clog to the deal said General Electric will pay about $250 million, with closing of the deal in April.
